Eddie White Moves to Part-time Role at 1070 The Fan

Indianapolis….Eddie White, afternoon host for Indianapolis’ 1070 The Fan, will be moving to a part-time position at the station allowing him to pursue his sports public relations and marketing endeavors in Central Indiana while still maintaining a relationship with Emmis.

“Eddie will be a regular guest on ALL of our stations,” offered Charlie Morgan, VP/Market Manager of Emmis-Indianapolis. “In fact, he’ll be involved in our race day coverage.  I don’t know if I’ve ever met anyone with his contacts, communicative skills and enthusiasm.  He is a natural salesman.” 

White, a former Reebok executive, started with Emmis over two years ago along with Indianapolis Star sports columnist Bob Kravitz on the “Kravitz and Eddie Show.” Kravitz left the show several months ago while White continued the show solo.

“I’m not going away,” said White, the former PR director of the Miami Dolphins and Notre Dame.  “I just won’t be there every day. This way I can return to my roots as a sports PR guy while still maintaining a relationship with a company I have the greatest respect for – Emmis. "
