Maroon 5 will be the halftime performers at the 2019 Super Bowl, two sources confirm to Variety. Reps for the group and the NFL could not immediately be reached for comment.
The younger-pop trend continues for the Super Bowl halftime shows. In the last few years we've seen Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, and now Adam Levine's Maroon 5.
All I think about when I hear Maroon 5 is "Sunday Morning", so it's tough to picture them putting on a poppin' show for the biggest audience in the world every year.
The ladies love Levine, so you can at least get your girl to be in for that.
Hey, with Andrew Luck back healthy, the new defense playing behind The Maniac...who knows? Maybe central Indiana could have a very invested interest in the game outside of the performance as well.
Ok, that's getting ahead of things a bit.
