Purdue Debuts New Train Track Sideline

Purdue revealed their new sideline design on Tuesday that makes too much sense. The Boilermakers ride the Boilermaker Special, and they're telling you to get off the tracks in 2018.
Since the cat is now out of the bag, here is the new @BoilerFootball border we’ve been working on. Choo Choo! Come see the finished product on 8/30 #BoilerUp @PurdueSports @LifeAtPurdue @RossAdeStadium @rossadebrigade @ReamerClub pic.twitter.com/tAh0GT5meB

That's going to look really clean under the lights on ESPN this Thursday against Northwestern.
It's subtle, too. Some fields go blue, or red, or put a tree design in the middle (OK maybe that's just a basketball court), but you get the picture.
The only negative for this would be that the Purdue football program may be getting a little too far ahead of themselves. This is a hype move for a program like Ohio State, where you most likely aren't going to win in their building no matter who you are.
While it was a hugely successful first season in 2017, nothing would be worse than unvieling this cool, new design then going below .500 at home this season.
Luckily for the Boilers, they still have Jeff Brohm at the helm, and I don't think they'll let that happen.
